Standard 24-Inch Built-In

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Tape measure
  • Pipe cutter
  • Electrical tester

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Prepare Installation Area: Ensure cabinet opening is clean, level, and meets required dimensions (24-inch width minimum).
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all protective films, shipping brackets, and packaging materials from dishwasher.
  3. Connect Water Supply: Connect hot water supply line to water inlet valve using approved braided stainless steel hose.
  4. Connect Drain Hose: Route drain hose to drain connection with high loop to prevent backflow into dishwasher.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated 120V, 15-amp circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
  6. Position and Level: Slide dishwasher into opening and adjust leveling legs to ensure unit is perfectly level.
  7. Secure to Countertop: Use mounting brackets to secure dishwasher to underside of countertop.
  8. Test Operation: Run dishwasher through a complete cycle to check for leaks and proper operation.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Dishwasher won't start Power issue, door not latched properly, child lock engaged Check power supply, ensure door is closed completely, check child lock setting
