Built-in Dishwasher Series

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Tape measure
  • Drill with bits
  • Pipe wrench

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Prepare Installation Area: Ensure cabinet opening meets required dimensions and has proper electrical and plumbing connections.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all protective packaging, tape, and shipping bolts from the dishwasher.
  3. Connect Water Supply: Connect hot water supply line to the water inlet valve using approved dishwasher connectors.
  4. Connect Drain Hose: Route drain hose to drain connection with high loop to prevent backflow into dishwasher.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated 120V, 15-20 amp circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
  6. Position and Level: Slide dishwasher into opening and adjust leveling legs to ensure unit is plumb and square.
  7. Secure to Countertop: Use mounting brackets to secure dishwasher to underside of countertop.
  8. Test Operation: Run dishwasher through a complete cycle to check for leaks and proper operation.
Warning: Installation must be performed by qualified personnel. Improper installation may void warranty and create safety hazards.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
