Built-In Dishwasher

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe wrench
  • Tape measure
  • Drill with bits

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Prepare Installation Area: Ensure cabinet opening meets required dimensions and is level, clean, and free of debris.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all protective films, tapes, and shipping brackets from the dishwasher interior and exterior.
  3. Connect Water Supply: Connect hot water supply line to the water inlet valve using proper fittings. Recommended water temperature: 120°F (49°C).
  4. Connect Drain Hose: Route drain hose to drain connection with high loop or air gap to prevent backflow into dishwasher.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 120V, 60Hz, 15-amp circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
  6. Position and Level: Slide dishwasher into opening and adjust leveling legs to ensure unit is level and properly aligned with cabinetry.
  7. Secure to Countertop: Attach mounting brackets to underside of countertop to secure dishwasher in place.
  8. Test Run: Run dishwasher through a complete cycle to check for leaks and proper operation.

Troubleshooting
