Built-In Dishwasher

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Tape measure
  • Drill

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Prepare Cabinet Opening: Ensure cabinet opening meets required dimensions (24" width, 34.5" height, 24" depth minimum).
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all shipping bolts, brackets and packaging materials from the dishwasher.
  3. Connect Water Supply: Connect hot water supply line to the water inlet valve. Use only new braided stainless steel hose.
  4. Connect Drain Hose: Route the drain hose to drain connection with high loop to prevent backflow into dishwasher.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 120V, 60Hz, 15A circuit. Follow local electrical codes.
  6. Level the Dishwasher: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the dishwasher is level from front to back and side to side.
  7. Secure to Countertop: Use mounting brackets to secure dishwasher to underside of countertop.
  8. Test Run: Run the dishwasher through a complete cycle to check for leaks and proper operation.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Dishwasher won't start Power issue, door not closed properly Check power supply, ensure door is latched completely
