Built-In Dishwasher

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Tape measure
  • Pipe thread seal tape

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Prepare Installation Area: Ensure cabinet opening is clean, level, and meets required dimensions (24" width minimum).
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all protective films, shipping bolts, and packaging materials from dishwasher.
  3. Connect Water Supply: Connect hot water supply line to water inlet valve using proper fittings and thread seal tape.
  4. Connect Drain Hose: Route drain hose to garbage disposal or drain tee with high loop to prevent backflow.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated 120V, 15A, 60Hz circuit. Hardwire according to local electrical codes.
  6. Level the Dishwasher: Adjust leveling legs to ensure dishwasher is level from front to back and side to side.
  7. Secure to Countertop: Use mounting brackets to secure dishwasher to underside of countertop.
  8. Test Run: Run dishwasher through a complete cycle to check for leaks and proper operation.

Troubleshooting
