Built-In Dishwasher

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Tape measure
  • Pipe thread seal tape

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Prepare Installation Area: Ensure cabinet opening meets required dimensions and is level. Remove any existing dishwasher.
  2. Connect Water Supply: Connect hot water supply line to dishwasher inlet valve using pipe thread seal tape on connections.
  3. Connect Drain Hose: Route drain hose to drain connection with high loop to prevent backflow into dishwasher.
  4. Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated 120V, 15A circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
  5. Position Dishwasher: Carefully slide dishwasher into cabinet opening, being careful not to kink water lines or drain hose.
  6. Secure Dishwasher: Use mounting brackets to secure dishwasher to countertop or adjacent cabinets.
  7. Level the Unit: Adjust leveling legs to ensure dishwasher is level from front to back and side to side.
  8. Test Operation: Run the dishwasher through a complete cycle to check for leaks and proper operation.

Troubleshooting
