Built-In Dishwasher

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Tape measure
  • Pipe thread seal tape

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Prepare Installation Area: Ensure cabinet opening is properly sized and level. Remove any packaging materials from dishwasher.
  2. Connect Water Supply: Connect hot water supply line to water inlet valve using new braided stainless steel hose.
  3. Connect Drain Hose: Route drain hose to drain connection with high loop to prevent backflow into dishwasher.
  4. Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated 120V, 15A, 60Hz circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
  5. Position Dishwasher: Slide dishwasher into cabinet opening, ensuring level from front to back and side to side.
  6. Secure to Countertop: Attach mounting brackets to secure dishwasher to underside of countertop.
  7. Test Operation: Run dishwasher through a complete cycle to check for leaks and proper operation.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
