Built-in Water Filter

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Drill with 1/4" bit
  • Tape measure
  • Level
  • Pliers

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location under sink with access to cold water line and adequate clearance for filter cartridge changes.
  2. Shut Off Water Supply: Turn off cold water supply under sink and relieve pressure by opening faucet.
  3. Mount Bracket: Mount the filter bracket to wall or cabinet using provided screws, ensuring it's level and secure.
  4. Connect Water Lines: Connect inlet and outlet water lines to filter head using compression fittings. Inlet from cold water supply, outlet to faucet.
  5. Install Filter Cartridge: Remove protective caps from new filter cartridge and install into filter head, turning clockwise until snug.
  6. Check for Leaks: Slowly turn water supply back on and check all connections for leaks. Tighten if necessary.
  7. Purge System: Run water through filter for 5 minutes to purge air and flush new filter media.
  8. Reset Filter Indicator: Reset the filter change indicator according to manufacturer instructions.
Warning: Professional installation recommended. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent water damage. Follow local plumbing codes.

Troubleshooting
