Built-in Water Filter

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Teflon tape
  • Bucket or towels
  • Level

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Shut Off Water Supply: Turn off the main water supply and relieve pressure by opening a nearby faucet.
  2. Remove Old Filter: If replacing an existing filter, disconnect and remove the old unit carefully.
  3. Prepare Connections: Clean the water line connections and apply Teflon tape to threaded fittings.
  4. Mount Filter Housing: Secure the filter housing in the designated location under the sink.
  5. Connect Water Lines: Attach inlet and outlet water lines to the appropriate ports on the filter housing.
  6. Install Filter Cartridge: Insert the compatible filter cartridge according to manufacturer instructions.
  7. Flush System: Turn on water supply and flush the system for 5 minutes to remove air and carbon fines.
  8. Check for Leaks: Inspect all connections for leaks and tighten if necessary.
Warning: Installation should be performed by qualified personnel. Ensure proper water pressure (20-100 psi) and follow local plumbing codes.
