Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
No water from faucet Water supply off, tank empty, clogged filter Check water supply, allow tank to fill, replace filters if needed
Slow water flow Low water pressure, clogged filters, restricted flow Check water pressure, replace pre-filters, check for kinks in tubing
Continuous running Leaking check valve, faulty auto-shutoff valve Replace check valve or auto-shutoff valve assembly
Water leaking Loose connections, cracked housing, faulty O-rings Tighten connections, replace damaged parts, ensure proper O-ring seating
Poor tasting water Exhausted filters, contaminated membrane Replace filters and membrane following manufacturer schedule
Tank not filling Air pressure issue, clogged membrane, faulty valve Check tank air pressure, replace RO membrane, inspect valves

Maintenance Schedule

  • Every 6 months: Replace sediment and carbon pre-filters
  • Every 2-3 years: Replace RO membrane
  • Every 12 months: Replace post-carbon filter
  • Monthly: Sanitize system and clean faucet aerator
  • As needed: Check and adjust tank air pressure
