Built-in Dishwasher

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe wrench
  • Tape measure
  • Drill with bits

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Prepare Installation Area: Ensure cabinet opening meets required dimensions and is level, clean, and free of obstructions.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all protective films, tapes, and shipping braces from the dishwasher interior and exterior.
  3. Connect Water Supply: Connect hot water supply line to the water inlet valve using proper fittings. Recommended water pressure: 20-120 psi.
  4. Connect Drain Hose: Route drain hose to drain connection with high loop or air gap to prevent backflow into dishwasher.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated 120V, 60Hz, 15A circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
  6. Position and Level: Slide dishwasher into cabinet opening and adjust leveling legs to ensure unit is level and properly aligned.
  7. Secure to Countertop: Use mounting brackets to secure dishwasher to underside of countertop for stability.
  8. Test Operation: Run the dishwasher through a complete cycle to check for leaks and proper operation.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
