Tools Needed:
- Level
- Adjustable wrench
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Tape measure
- Water line installation kit (if connecting to water supply)
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from heat sources and direct sunlight on a solid, level floor.
- Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all shipping materials, tape, and protective films from the refrigerator exterior and interior.
- Adjust Leveling Legs: Adjust the front leveling legs to ensure the refrigerator is level from front to back and side to side for proper door operation.
- Connect Water Supply (Optional): Connect water line to the refrigerator's water inlet valve for ice maker and water dispenser functionality.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC only outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
- Clearance Requirements: Ensure proper clearance - 1 inch at back, 2 inches at top, and 1/2 inch on both sides for adequate ventilation.
- Initial Setup: Allow refrigerator to stand upright for 4 hours before plugging in. Set temperature controls and wait 24 hours for optimal cooling.
